Courage 2
This morning when looking around a found the SCS sketch challenge and the Diva Coffee Break Color Challenge. Since I have to be heading out to work soon, I decided to use the ‘use what’s on top of my desk’ method to design my card so here is a second Courage card made with the July 4th set.
Just a couple quick notes…the base of the card is Brilliant Blue. I stamped a piece of Whisper White with Real Red and Brilliant blue, layered it on Real Red and then the card base. Next I took another piece of Whisper White, inked the stamped with Real Red and Brilliant Blue markers, stamped and layered it onto Brilliant Blue. I took a piece of the Red 1” Stitched ribbon and did each individual ‘bunch’ and stapled (well…just the first two). For the last one I used a large white neutral brad to finish it off and to attach it to my stamped panel. This panel is added to the card front using dimensionals. I stamped the large star image in Real Red and Brilliant Blue and punched with the large and small heart punch. I also have one Brilliant Blue solid small heart there.
We are starting on our last week over on the Create with Connie and Mary subscribers site, but remember the site stays up long after the session is done, so you can refer back to all the projects. We have been featuring the Summer Mini stamp sets and products. There is a new project posted every day and several fabulous tutorials each and every week. You are welcome to use our ideas and projects in your classes and camps, we just ask that you do not submit our ideas to magazines, publications or contests, including Stampin’ Up!‘s challenges and So Shelli creative challenge.
