Just a couple quick notes on this one…getting late!  The color challenge on SCS is Very Vanilla, Real Red, and Wild Wasabi….just a couldn’t resist a little Christmas card!

I saw this great card by Cristena and couldn’t resist using it as the inspiration for my card!  The base of the card is Whisper White.  I took another piece of Very Vanilla and stamped the greeting using Wild Wasabi.  I took a strip of the Holly Berry Bouquet dsp and used my coluzzle to round off the one end.  Then I made a ‘bow’ (click here for my tutorial) using Real Red 5/8” Satin Ribbon and a Very Vanilla Brad, added another piece of the ribbon and then added to the panel.  This is attached to the card front using dimensionals.  I added a 1 3/4” Wild Wasabi circle.  I inked the branch and birds using Wild Wasabi, Garden Green and Real Red markers, stamped onto Very Vanilla then punched using the 1 3/8” Circle punch and added using dimensionals to finish it off.
