Celebrate
I just LOVED the color throwdown challenge on Wednesday to use any color, navy and white. Since I have this blue/yellow thing it was the perfect challenge for me! I just needed to wait until I saw a sketch I liked which fortunately they had on Stamping 411 this morning! Don’t you just LOVE when a plan comes together?

See…don’t these go together nicely? A couple quick notes…the base of the card is Daffodil Delight. I took a piece of the striped Daffodil Delight from the Brights dsp paper pack and added a Scallop Trim Night of Navy edge underneath it then added to a piece of Whisper White. This is layered onto a piece of Night of Navy. I made a ‘bow’ (click here for my tutorial) using Night of Navy Satin Ribbon and a yellow rhinestone brad and added that other piece of ribbon so I could wrap it around the back of the panel. I added this to the card front using dimensionals. I used the largest oval from the ovals die in Whisper White and stamped Celebrate from Fundamental Phrases in Night of Navy. I did a Daffodil Delight Bird and a Night of Navy Bird running the wings through the Finial Press Embossing Folder. The branch/leaves are Pear Pizzazz. The birds are added using dimensioals and the oval is added using dimensionals too! Oh…then I decided the birds needed eyes so I added some Basic Rhinestones for the eyes.
So I hope you all are having a GREAT Saturday (it’s raining here…it’s been raining here FOREVER…guy with large boat filled with animals should be coming by soon!). Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
