Happy February everyone!  Can you believe it?  Soon…it will be spring…well unless you count yesterday here in Ohio which FELT like spring…go figure!  But in honor of spring we are celebrating all things flowers and birds…COOL!!!  (And you should see the stuff!)

Isn’t this just the coolest card?  This was the try a new technique challenge on SCS Monday.  Here is the link to where you can find the directions.  I made my ‘card’ from Baja Breeze (warning…you need 12 x 12 paper for this I do think you might be able to find directions for 8 1/2 x 11 under the Technique challenge on SCS.  Really there isn’t alot to this.  I took a strip of the Twitterpated striped dsp, layered onto a piece of Riding Hood Red with the scallop edge along the bottom.  I stamped the greeting using Old Olive and Riding Hood Red on Whisper White, punched with the Decorative Label Punch then layered onto Basic Grey Decorative Label then added to the front.  I added butterflies in Riding Hood Red and Blushing Bride.  I stamped the flower using Basic Grey CRAFT ink and clear embossed (Blushing Bride and Riding Hood Red) and punched with the Blossom Punch.  The red one is on a Blushing Bride Bookmark tag and the Blushing Bride one is layered onto a Twitterpated dsp label framelit on a Riding Hood Red label framelit.  There are Pear Pizzazz leave and a Pear Pizzazz Glimmer Brad in the center of each flower.  Pear Pizzazz butterflies were added.  I finished everything off with some Basic Rhinestones.
