Candy Pencils
First…it’s another of those really GREAT days on Create with Connie and Mary and one of our designers will be giving away some BLOG CANDY…so you are going to want to head over there and see who it is! And second…I have a cute Valentine project for you with a little mini tutorial.
You need three pieces of cardstock. The Daffodil Delight one is 3 1/4 x 5, the Basic Grey is 3 3/8 x 1/4 and the Regal Rose is 3 3/8 x 1/2. I took my piece of Daffodil Delight and scored at every 3/8”. It really like the P.S. I Love You set…the greetings are the perfect size to fit on a ‘panel’ of the pencil so you can stamp a Valentine greeting right on there! How fun is that!
Next use some sticky strip to add a silver wrapped Hershey Kiss to the top of a pack of Rolo’s. Take your scored Daffodil Delight piece, wrap around the Rolo and secure using Sticky Strip. I didn’t actually stick the paper to the candy just wrapped around and adhered to itself.
I next added the strip of Regal Rose (again with Sticky Strip) and then finished it off by adding the strip of Basic Grey (with Sticky Strip)
If finished it off by adding some Real Red and Whisper White hearts from the Fashionable Hearts Embosslit Folder. What a fun treat to give to someone sweet for Valentine’s Day!
Did you know that the Early Bird Special - where you can get 6 AMAZING weeks for ideas for the Occasions Mini and SAB Brochure for only $29.95 ($5 off the regular 6 week subscription price of $34.95) ends on Saturday? Well…it’s TRUE!!! So you NEED to head over to Create with Connie and Mary and subscribe before your forget! And while you are there, check out which of the designers where are featuring today because she will be offering BLOG CANDY!!!
Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!

This is so cute. If one was to mass produce these, you could score a bunch of these at once using our new scoring tool and then just cut the daffodil delight. I will be doing that for my co-workers!
