Oh…I just couldn’t resist all these little butterflies!  I wanted to do something fun for Mary Jo’s Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch challenge today and just received this Sweet Summer SAB set.  Add some buttons and butterflies and all is good!

It’s another fun and easy sketch from Mary Jo and just perfect for a ‘happy’ card.  Don’t you think the name “Butterfly Garden” is perfect for this.  The SAB Ice Cream Parlor is a fun edition to any project.

The base of the card is Old Olive.  I took a piece of the Melon Mambo print and layered onto Night of Navy and then the card front.  Next is a print from the SAB dsp, the Night of Navy and then the card front.  I stamped the for you from the “So Happy for You” set in Basic Black on So Saffron, punched with the Decorative Label punch, sponged the edges then added to the card front.  I stamped the stems using StazOn Jet Black on Whisper White and colored using Old Olive marker.  This is layered onto Night of Navy and then the card front using dimensionals.  I added some of the Ice Parlor ribbon through the buttons from the Sew Suite collection and added to the stems.  I made a bow (click here for tutorial) from Pretty in Pink 5/8” Satin Ribbon and a 3/16” Neutral brad.  Next I stamped and colored a bunch of butterflies, cut out and added to the card with one on top of the bow.
