Isn’t this a GREAT easy sketch? We thought so too as we worked on our cards for this week. For the preview period the design team is focusing on using Bold Blossom, Hello Blossoms, Flower Fest and On the Grow so this week I decided to use Bold Blossom for my Thursday Challenge card to fit right in with the Preview Period!
This was a simple card to make. The base of the card is So Saffron. I took a print from the Play Date dsp pack, round the corners on one side and added to the card front. I took a piece of Whisper White, stamped the stem/leaves and layered onto a piece of Old Olive and then the card front. I used the scallop edge punch on a piece of Real Red and attached to the card front. I stamped Hello from Fundamental Phrases using Early Espresso then tied an Early Espresso 1/4” Grosgrain Ribbon around the piece. I used the new Triple Layer Flower punch on Early Espresso and Real Red. The Early Espresso piece is attached to the Whisper White panel. I added a Daffodil Delight button on the Real Red piece using White Baker’s Twine and added this piece to the card front using a dimensional. Finally I stamp a butterfly using Daffodil Delight, cut out and added to the panel using a glue dot and dimensionals.
Boy…this would cheer anyone up…don’t you think? So…now head over to Create with Connie and Mary. Check out the challenge and the Preview Projects shared already and why not sign up the Create with Connie and Mary Summer Edition using the Early Bird special of $24.95 and save $5.
