Blossom Builders
One of the cool new products in the Occasions Mini is the Blossom Builders…these are pre-printed flowers that you can pop out of the sheet and then put together to make flowers. SOOOO much fun! I’ve made a couple cards with these that I’ll be sharing. I did this one for the Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.

I knew when I saw the sketch I wanted to use the new Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit. Once I started playing with the flowers I realized I had a slight problem…the flowers I wanted to use were a bit LARGE and I could use the sketch in the vertical format so I turned it horizontal and PROBLEM SOLVED! LOVE IT!!! This is actually a pretty quick and easy card because of the blossom builders.
The base of the card is Whisper White and I ran it through the Polka Dotted embossing folder. Next I ‘built’ the flowers…the smaller ones are just a flower with a center (I did have to ‘punch’ down the Razzleberry one with my 1/2” circle punch to keep them looking the same), layered the dots on the flowers using dimensionals and then flowers on the piece of Whisper White (which is layered onto Rich Razzleberry) using dimensionals. The large flower used all ‘open’ flowers layered with dimensionals and a yellow circle in the middle. I stamped the greeting from the Sweetly Said said using Lucky Limeade. I made a ‘bow’ (click here for my tutorial) using So Saffron 3/8” Taffeta Ribbon and a Lucky Limeade Printed Designer Brad, added an extra piece of ribbon and added to the panel. This is added to the card front using dimensionals. How fun is that!
