Bliss 4
This is my second post for the day…so make sure you check out my Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge card. You know I just LOVE a CAS (clean and simple) challenge so I had to do the one on SCS today! Talk about simple…I swear this card made itself!
Okay a couple quick notes (you know…gotta go to work!)...the challenge was to create your own background and I immediately thought of this flourishy stamp from the BLISS set…PERFECT! I took a piece of Crumb Cake and rounded the bottom corners. Next I took another piece of the Crumb Cake and stamped the flourishy image using Crumb Cake and layered this onto the front (I guess you could have done it on the base but it was that ‘I didn’t want to screw it up’ thing! I stamped the greeting from Curly Cute using Basic Black ink. Next I made a ‘bow’ (click here for the tutorial) from Basic Black 5/8” Satin Ribbon and a Neutrals glitter brad. I added another piece of ribbon before closing the prongs and added this to the card front wrapping the ribbon ends inside (I covered these with another strip of crumb cake cardstock). So…believe it or not…that’s all there is to my card!
Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
