On October 27th I was sooooo excited to be asked by Stampin’ Up! to do a Demo Booth at the Louisville Regional.  At my booth I was showing how I do my ‘bows’ (click here for my tutorial).  Although I took many of the samples that I have posted in the past here on my site, I did make a couple new ones to share just that day!  This ended up working for the Free For All and Ways to Use it challenges this week on SCS.

I had found the coolest tag on Jen Del Muro (I{heart}2stamp site) that featured a ladybug.  When I was trying to come up with a cool idea for a card for my display I saw that tag and did my own take on it.  This is what I came up with!

The base of my card is Peach Parfait.  I took another piece of Peach Parfait and ran it through the Houndstooth Embossing Folder and layered onto the card front.  Next I made a tag using Crumb Cake and the Two Tag Die.  I added a piece of the Frightful Sight dsp to the bottom.  I made a ‘banner’ from a piece of crumb cake, stamped the greeting using Basic Black and layered onto the tag.  I punched out a 1/2” Pumpkin Pie circle and added it to the tag using a Lucky Limeade Printed Designer Brad.  I used my Little Leaves Sizzlet to make three ‘leaves’ from Old Olive and added to the tag.  My pumpkin is made from five 1” circles (from the Cajun Craze dotted dsp in the Frightful Sight pack), folded in half and attached to each other.  I hand cut a stem for the pumpkin from Basic Black and added to the back of the pumpkin and then added this to the tag.  I took a piece of Basic Black 1 1/4” Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and used my markers to added the Pumpkin Pie and Pear Pizzazz color to it.  I made it into a ‘bow’ (click here for my tutorial) from the colored ribbon and a Lucky Limeade Printed Designer Brad, added it to the top of the tag, then added the tag to the card front using dimensionals.

I was just SOOOO happy with the way this card had turned out and couldn’t wait to share with you.  Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
