Apothecary Side Notes
And now for something totally different! Today on the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge we have a great sketch challenge for you! So I was look at it and the Apothecary Arts Side Notes happened to be sitting on top of my desk from working on my Create with Connie and Mary Occasions Edition 2012 projects and I thought…hmmm…these will work!

There are all different size and shape pieces in the Apothecary Arts Side Notes. So I was sorting through them and I noticed the very biggest one. Overall it was too large for my card but I realized I could cut it down and it should work out…well as long as I went with a large (5 1/4 x 5 1/4) square card! So that is what I did and I was good to go!
Boy…was this card ever EASY to do! The base of the card is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 Daffodil Delight. I took another piece of the Daffodil Delight, ran through the Stripes Embossing Folder then added to the card front. Next I added a piece of the white/Daffodil Delight print from the Attic Boutique dsp pack. I trimmed down the largest image (like I mentioned above) then layered it onto a piece of Soft Suede. I stamped the ‘so grateful’ from the Apothecary Art set in Soft Suede. I took another of the Apothecary Art Side Notes (the Poppy Parade one with shoes on there) and added it to the side of the large piece. I made a double ‘bow’ (click here for my tutorial) using Soft Suede 3/8” Taffeta Ribbon and an Everyday Enchantment Brad, added this to the Poppy Parade label and then to the card front using dimensionals.
See how easy that was!
