It’s another Thursday and another Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge!  This week we have good color challenge for you that just sort of said ‘Halloween’ to me so I went with it.

Again this week we are still in our Preview period at Create with Connie and Mary Holiday 11 Edition and one of the sets we are featuring is All Wrapped Up Holidays.  I really liked the little EEK stamp with the spider and decided to use that for my main image.

The base of the card is Cajun Craze.  I took a piece of Very Vanilla and ran it through the Spider Web embossing folder and added a strip of Basic Grey along the top.  Next I took the Old Olive/spider dsp from Frightful Sight dsp, scalloped the edge and layered onto the Very Vanilla piece.  I tied a piece of Basic Grey 5/8” Satin ribbon around it then added to the card front. Next I punched out a 2 1/2” circle from the Cajun dsp in the same pack and added to the card front using dimensionals.  I inked the stamp using Cajun Craze, Basic Grey and Old Olive Markers, stamped on Very Vanilla and punched with the new 1” Square punch.  I colored in the top EEK using the Cajun Craze marker.  I layered these onto Basic Grey Postage Stamped piece then to the circle using dimensionals.  Finally I inked the Happy Halloween (left off the pumpkin), stamped on Old Olive, punched with Modern Label punch, added a Basic Grey Brad then added to the card front.

So there’s another Halloween card!  I don’t usually do many Halloween type cards but we sure do have some cute sets!  Now head over to Create with Connie and Mary!  There’s still time to take advantage of the Early Bird special and you don’t want to miss out!  The Holiday 11 Edition stars on September 18th!
