Every edition of Create with Connie and Mary we have one theme challenge and this edition we are doing a little treat for someone sweet.  Now Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and I thought I’d share a quick and easy treat that would work (with some changes in stamps) for Valentine’s Day or be perfect for Easter!

Now…to be VERY HONEST…a treat holder doesn’t get ANY EASIER than this one.  The one I did was the perfect size for a full size (not KING size) Hershey bar with Almonds.  You could easily just use a smaller size label framelit and it would could be used for smaller treats!

So here is the quick and dirty for this one…I used the paper (and elements from the Spring Fever SS Kit) and the largest label in the Label Framelit collection.  I folded it in half, made a ‘bow’ (click here for my tutorial) using Melon Mambo Polka Dotted ribbon and a Pear Pizzazz Glimmer Brad and used it to close the treat holder.  I added a decorative strip from the kit, stamped Hello from the You’re My Type set in Basic Grey, layered this on a 1 1/4” square, added it to the treat front and inserted the Hershey bar.

See…didn’t I tell you this was an easy one?  Although we have finished up 4 of our 6 weeks of Create with Connie and Mary Occasions Edition 2012, you can still join for $34.95.  You will have access to all 4 weeks of projects we shared so far AND the 2 weeks still to come.  Head over to Create with Connie and Mary to see the other fun treat holders and SUBSCRIBE NOW!

Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
