A Little Inspiration
Well, it looks like all went okay with Rand moving my blog. I didn’t have a chance to post a card I made for the inspiration challenge on SCS this morning before he started working on it so I thought I’d do it now. It’s just a quick and easy little card!

It didn’t take me long this morning to find an inspiration piece that I wanted to use and to figure out what I wanted to do with that piece. Looking at the photo I decided that the colors that would work best would be Very Vanilla, Soft Suede and Blushing Bride. Just few other plans and I was ready to go!.
The base of the card is Blushing Bride 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 and ran through the Polka Dotted Folder. I used the Petal Cone Die to make the banner from Very Vanilla, stamped the greeting from Three Little Words in Soft Suede and added to the card front. Next I punched out a 2 1/2” Very Vanilla Circle, added it to the the card front and then half of the lattice die in Soft Suede over the top. I punched out the bird from Blushing Bride and two wings. I ran those through the Finial Press embossing folder, added one to the front and one to the back of the bird, added two leaves/branches in Soft Suede to the back fo the bird and then to the card front using dimensionals. I finished it off with a medium pearl as the eyeball!
So that’s my inspiration challenge card for today! Thanks for stopping by! Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!

What a sweet card, Mary! I love how you embossed the bird’s wings.
